Privacy Policy for Pretender

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Pretender ("we", "our", "the App") is an offline party game for groups of people playing together on a single device. This page explains what information the App collects and how it's used.

Information we collect directly

Pretender does not require an account and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Player names entered during setup, game history, and settings are stored only locally on your device and are never transmitted to us or to any third party.

Advertising

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID) and other technical information, and may show personalized ads where you have given consent (for example, if you are located in the EEA, UK, or another region requiring it). Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads through Google's User Messaging Platform.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites .

Children's privacy

Pretender is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention

We do not operate any servers that store your data. Local app data (settings and statistics) stays on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data yourself.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
